There is a flat $29 Shipping fee required for ALL warranty replacements.

Full Warranty

Our non-transferable Full Warranty policy covers any rod during the first year of ownership. During this time, we will replace any broken rod with no replacement fee. A dated store receipt or proof of purchase is required for this warranty. Breakage due to misuse, neglect or abuse are not covered.

For rods that have surpassed their first year of ownership, or without a proof of purchase, we offer a non-transferable Limited Warranty policy. The duration of this warranty varies depending on the rod series, as each series has a different warranty duration.

EXAMPLE: If a rod is listed as having a 5-year warranty, the first year is covered under our Full Warranty policy, while the remaining 4 years fall under our Limited Warranty policy. This warranty applies only to the original owner, requires a receipt and remains in effect from the original date of purchase. The warranty goes into effect the day you purchase your new rod and expires after the period noted below. A rod warranty replacement does not extend or renew the overall warranty period. Without any proof of purchase, it is our policy to use the manufacture date on the rod to establish time of ownership and apply the appropriate warranty fees. Rods with an unreadable manufacture date code are deemed out of warranty and will not be approved. Breakage due to misuse, neglect or abuse are not covered.

Because rod families change over time Duckett Fishing has the discretion to replace any approved warranty rods with a similar model if needed or required. Rods must be replaced with the same model and style whenever available. No upgrades to other families are permitted under the warranty policy.

If a customer needs to replace a rod under our Limited Warranty policy, a replacement fee will be charged. The fee amount varies depending on the series and age of the rod.

FAQ

Q – Are tips and guides covered under the warranty program?

A – Tips and guides are not covered under the standard warranty programs but we can send you replacement tips or guides or repair your rod here at Duckett Fishing for a nominal fee. Please Fill out the Tip and Guide Replacement form and we will assist you getting back on the water.

Q – Can I upgrade or change to a different type of rod or model as part of my warranty?

A – The warranty on all Duckett rods is only for an exact replacement for the rod you own as long as the rods are still active items.

Q – If I have a valid warranty claim and my rod is replaced, does my warranty timeframe start over?

A – No, your warranty is based on the original purchase date only and does not “reset”. The claim is also not considered a proof of purchase since the date is not consistent with your date of original purchase.

Q – What if my rod is still under warranty but no longer in stock at Duckett Fishing?

A – If an exact replacement is not available, we reserve the right to substitute when required and provide you as close a rod as possible to the one you purchased. At times we may have to substitute a slightly different action or different family based on current availability.

Q – Can us use my credit card statement as proof of purchase for my rod.

A – Unfortunately credit card statements do not provide enough information to use as a valid proof of purchase
